Each month during the school year, the Rotary Club of Brookings-Harbor invites the staff at Brookings-Harbor High School to nominate a Student of the Month. The students and their parents are invited to join the club for lunch, and to make a short presentation about their achievements and their goals. Their names appear on a plaque in the front hall of the high school. By tradition, at least one of the students during the year typically receives one of the club's college scholarships in the spring. Applications are made through the Brookings-Harbor Scholarship Foundation review process.
